Printing Traditional & Digital
All fiber/rc black and white printing is hand enlarged through traditional methods using custom burning and dodging and printed to archival standards.
Traditional Printing
Printing can be on both fiber based and resin-coated papers. All printing is hand enlarged through traditional methods using custom burning and dodging and printed to archival standards.
Fiber-based papers, highly recommended for hand tinting and archival quality, are warm or cold tone. All fiber-based. papers can be selenium or sepia toned to add to the permanence of the print.
Resin coated papers are hand enlarged, fixed and washed twice.
If we have not printed for you before, we require a guide print as black and white is very subjective and we want to know just how much contrast you like in your prints.
At this time, fiber printing requires a negative. We can make a b&w negative from your digital file using our new LVT service. We can enlarge from all sizes of negatives up to 8″x10″. After 8″x10″ we can make contact prints. We print for many fine art photographers. To view their work, please visit “Our Favorites” page
Digital Printing
DIGITAL: We can print color or black and white up to 44″ wide using archival inks and papers from your digital files, scan of your negatives, slide or prints.
