2023 A great start!

We are looking forward to seeing what 2023 brings.

So far, we’ve received a lot of rain, which we desperately need.  If you have photos and family heirlooms stored away in the attic, garage or basement, now would be the time to check on them to make sure they haven’t collected any moisture.  If you find photos that are damp, lay them out individually on a towel to air dry.  If they are stuck together, try to copy them first before going further with trying to un-stick them.  Chances are, if they’ve been wet for 24 hours or more they are stuck.  The photo emulsion (the side the image is printed on) of an old print swells when wet and contracts when dry.  Keep this in mind when touching and drying prints.    Try not to rub this surface as it could damage the image even further.
